Carl Eric Linn, born in Stockholm 1937, belongs to the pioneers exploring the effects and role of brands and branding and the development of intangible values. His first book on the subject was “The Metaproduct” published as early as 1985. As a practitioner, his career has long focused on different ways and methods for value creation, which has resulted in awards for industrial design, for advertising, and in the contest for the Marketing Book of the Year. In his profession as a consultant and researcher, he has been engaged in assignments, lecturing and speaking in 16 countries around the world, from the Philippines, to California, to Brazil. His theories also spread through five books and a number of articles published in eight languages. In his spare time he enjoys literature, opera and ballet, cooking, horseback riding, physical training and classic and antique cars. |
